Indiana Master Naturalist Course

The 2009 Master Naturalist program has once again been an incredibly popular offering from the WNS. This is an introductory course of nature discovery and service learning for adults. Topics include an introduction to our local natural history and skills development for interpretation through lectures, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and a guided outdoor field trip.

Although the Monday evening class is full, spaces are still available in the Tuesday morning class(beginning tomorrow, January 13th)!

The class meets each week for a three-hour session from 9 a.m. to noon, and there are a total of thirteen sessions in the course. This course is held at the Wesselman Woods Nature Center. Cost is $150; this includes Master Naturalist certification upon completion of all course requirements and a Wesselman Nature Society membership. Registration is required.
