Looking for a way to share or show off
your nature photography?

There are many wonderful photo opportunities through visits to our area woodlands, wetlands, and waterways as well as through participation in Wesselman Nature Society (WNS) programs and events. WNS would like you to share these experiences! More specifically, we hope to encourage you to bring your camera to Wesselman Woods, Howell Wetlands, and to our local waterways through Canoe Evansville.

Here's how the contest works. Each season, we will post a new topic and photo challenge.

that you have caught on Photographs can be taken at any of our three program areas: Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, Howell Wetlands and with Canoe Evansville. There are wonderful photo opportunities at all locations throughout the year with a wide variety of wildlife and natural seasonal landscape changes. Special events and an assorted offering of programs provide for diverse subject matter. There is a Junior division for children under age 14, and an Adult division for people age 14 and older. A modest entry fee is required for each photograph entered. Prizes will be awarded in each of the four categories in both the Adult division and the Junior division.
