For those who have a great fondness of nature, we also recommend signing up for the yearly Master Naturalist program. This is a
12 week course designed to provide nature enthusiasts with an enlightening yet intensive look at Indiana’s natural history and natural resources. Master Naturalist graduates will have ample opportunities to share their life experiences and knowledge by providing volunteer leadership and service to their communities. Those interested in volunteering as a docent (volunteer educator), or trail guide would benefit greatly from completing the program.
Wesselman Nature Society volunteers are a vital part of our organization's success. Without you, we would not be able to host many of the great programs and community events that are offered for free or at a very low cost.
