Other Programming Options

Any of our school programs can be done as Scout workshops. Programs most often chosen by Scout groups are:

Bird Banding: (1 hour, $3 each)
Woodworking—Build-a-Bluebird House: (1 hour, $10 each)
Build-a-Wren House: (1 hour, $10 each)
Build-a-Squirrel Feeder: (1 hour, $4 each)
Build-a-Bird Feeder: (1 hour, $10 each)
Tracks & Trails: (1 hour, $4 each)
Campfire Rental: ($20 minimum, $1 per person)
Night Hikes: (1 hour long, $4 per person)

When planning to attend a Girl Scout workshop at Wesselman Woods, please keep the following things in mind:

Our program schedule fills quickly—sometimes several months in advance—register as early as possible!
The Girl Scout programs listed above require a $20 deposit in advance. (This guarantees a spot on our calendar and is deducted from the total cost of your program) If scheduling for an activity advertised in the Girl Scout “In the Know” or other information trunks, we do require a full pre-payment to hold spots for registration.
A ratio of one adult for every six girls is recommended.
