Looking for a unique and interesting idea for your child’s birthday? Why not schedule a party with us, here at the Nature Preserve?

Our birthday parties are two hours in length and include an instructor, live animal demonstration, and a short hike. We decorate the room, provide cake, punch, ice cream, utensils, and supplies for all your guests and provide party favors for the birthday child and up to 14 of his/her friends.

Each party begins with one of our naturalists presenting a short program and bringing in one of our live animals. Then everyone is taken on a short hike through Wesselman Woods. After the presentation, we bring in the cake, punch & ice cream and turn the party over to you for presents, games or whatever else you have planned.

Each party costs $110, with a $20 deposit due with your reservation. The remaining $90 will be due the day of the party. If you prefer a larger party, and need to bring more than 15 children, a separate fee of $2 per extra child will apply, plus an additional $20 is needed for an extra cake.

And the best part for you--when the party is over, you go home and we clean up the mess!
