Try-It Weekend Workshops (2 hours in length, $8 per girl) available for:

- Watching Wildlife
Weekend Workshops: These 2 hour workshops will give the girl scouts a wonderful outdoor experience as they work on various badges and requirements.
We hope these programs provide your troop with an entertaining educational experience.
Please dress for the weather, as some activities may be outside.
Brownies
Friday Evening Try-It Workshops (4 hours in length, $16 per girl) available for:
- Animals
- Art to Wear
- Watching Wildlife
- Senses
Evening Workshops begin at 6:00 pm on Friday evening and end at 10:00 pm that night. At which time activities will wrap up and scouts and their leaders head home after an evening full of fun. Please bring a flashlight and dress for the weather.
During the evening stay at Wesselman Woods the scouts will:
- work on badge requirements
- have healthy (and some not-so-healthy) snacks
- meet other scouts from other troops
- play games and participate in hands-on crafts
- enjoy s’mores around the campfire
GIRL SCOUT PROGRAM PLANNING INFORMATION
When planning to attend a Girl Scout workshop at Wesselman Woods, please keep the following things in mind:
- Our program schedule fills quickly—sometimes several months in advance—register as early as possible!
- All Girl Scout programs require full payment in advance.
- A ratio of one adult for every six girls is required.
- Programs may be scheduled before and after yours. Your prompt arrival ensures that your program is not compromised. Please advise girls to arrive EARLY.
- Brownie workshops are designed to complete all requirements needed to earn the badge.
- Badges earned after completion of our workshops must be purchased through the Girl Scout Council. For troops who would like a patch to remember their visit, a Wesselman Woods patch is available for purchase through the gift shop for $1.50 each. Anytime your troop makes a return trip to Wesselman Woods, smaller nature patches may be purchased for $.50 each, which are designed to fit around the Wesselman patch.
