Teen Girls Interest Project Weekend Workshops (2 hour in length, $8 per girl) available for:
- All About Birds
- Orienteering
- Wildlife
GIRL SCOUT PROGRAM PLANNING INFORMATION
When planning to attend a Girl Scout workshop at Wesselman Woods, please keep the following things in mind:
- Our program schedule fills quickly—sometimes several months in advance—register as early as possible!
- All Girl Scout programs require full payment in advance.
- A ratio of one adult for every six girls is required.
- All weekend workshops are two hours in length.
- Programs may be scheduled before and after yours. Your prompt arrival ensures that your program is not compromised. Please advise girls to arrive EARLY.
- Teen Girl Interest Project workshops are designed to introduce the scout to the project, covering several requirements, but will not complete the badge. A checklist is sent home with suggestions for completing the required activities within the troop or home.
- Note: Similar nature-related activities may be substituted for some requirements shown in the Scout books.
- Badges earned after completion of our workshops will be provided by Wesselman Woods. For troops who would like a patch to remember their visit, a Wesselman Woods patch is available for purchase through the gift shop for $1.50 each. Anytime your troop makes a return trip to Wesselman Woods, smaller nature patches may be purchased for $.50 each, which are designed to fit around the Wesselman patch.

Please print out the “Girl Scout Program Registration Form.” Please fill out the Registration Form as completely as possible with all the information requested about your group or organization and return it with payment to: WWNP Girl Scout Programs, 551 N. Boeke Rd., Evansville, IN 47711.
